Bossier Schools have published their Strong Start 2024 plan for our return to school. On that same page, you can find information about the Virtual Academy for those of you who are not ready to send your child(ren) back yet. Please feel free to contact me ay 759-2705 with specific questions. We are currently dealing with a very fluid situation and I appreciate your patience as we are all trying to do what is best for your child(ren).
Two quick notes:
The only requirement for masks is that they are school appropriate and do not cause disruption. The school will provide everyone with one reusable mask and we will also have disposable masks on campus if someone forgets theirs or in case of emergency.
Many of our teachers have Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer on their supply lists. If you have some, I am sure they would appreciate it. However, each classroom will be supplied with the necessary material to disinfect the room as required by our guidelines and we will have sanitazing stations around the school.
If your student requires medication, a procedure, or a special diet at school, new orders will be needed for the 2024-2021 school year. These orders can be downloaded from the Bossier Parish Schools website. Go to the attached link to access these forms.
